Event Coordinator

Position description

We have a unique opportunity for someone to join our team as Events Coordinator. In consultation with the Communications and Events Manager you will plan and set the events program for the year. The events we hold are different, our aim is to engage with our diverse communities. An example of the type of events are: Mother’s and Father’s Day Memorial services, remembrance services for the RSL and cemetery open days.

Grave Digger / Groundsperson

Position description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well presented, highly motivated, results driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Gravedigging / Grounds Team. Primarily located at Frenchs Forest location but you may also be required to work at our Macquarie Park cemetery as needed. The job is physical with manual labouring tasks which vary on a day to day basis. It requires someone who can work as part of a team but also independently. Appropriate training will be provided to the right candidate.

Position description

We have a unique opportunity for a hands-on and goals-driven professional to join our team as Sales and Operations Manager for Sandgate Cemetery, located 11 kilometres from Newcastle’s CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our team to; deliver excellent customer service, optimise our sales revenues and manage day to day grounds and burials operations of the cemetery.
