At Northern Cemeteries we apply best practice assessment and selection methods which vary depending on the role you apply for. Successful candidates will be asked to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test. At times we work with specialist recruitment agencies to find the right people. Finance Manager

Position description

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for someone to manage our day to day finance operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your primary role is to deliver the finance processes and procedures to meet Northern Cemeteries statutory financial reporting obligations, leading a small team of accountants and non-accountants to do so, with a continuous improvement focus.

Frequently Asked Questions

For the safety of families and the general public, we are limiting funeral services to a maximum of 10 attendees.

We offer excellent free web-casting facilities for all those who are unable to attend chapel services and can conduct enquiries over the phone where necessary.

We are asking that anyone:

  • who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or
  • who has been exposed to a confirmed or suspected coronavirus patient;

remain at home and take the necessary steps to care for their health as well as care for the safety of others.

We have also cancelled all events and tours at our locations.
