Aunty Sandra recounts her life and connection to the area where Sandgate Cemetery has now been built.  The Story of Place discusses the Worimi people and where the word Awabakal comes from as it is word that has a checked history and origin.  Sandgate Cemetery holds memories for Aunty Sandra’s family who have been buried there and also a fond memory as shared by her son who use to work there.
